The Handbooks

I had always wanted to write a book, but what prompted me to actually sit down and do it was the encouragement of numerous young professionals I have supervised, mentored, or met over the years. Many of these individuals were looking for advice and tips on how to deal with the trials and tribulations of moving up the corporate ladder.

By writing about my experiences, I was able to relive the ups and downs and twists and turns that have made me the person I am today. Looking back over my career provided me the opportunity to do things differently and help readers learn from my mistakes. As it’s said, “Hindsight is 20/20.”

Roseann Harrington’s insight into the corporate world will prove to be an indispensable guide for women in the workforce. As author of The Businesswoman’s Handbook, Roseann offers personal experiences and valuable life lessons as stepping stones to success. I consider this book a “must have” for the young women that I mentor.

The inspiration for this book was my desire to pass on the knowledge and experience I gained working my way up through the ranks to other women looking for ways they, too, can succeed in business. I was fortunate to have tremendous mentors throughout my career, and I wanted to share the lessons I have learned with the next generation of female leaders.

My hope is that readers will find the tips listed in the book helpful and that it will become a valuable resource throughout their careers.

The Businesswoman's Handbook is now available for purchase through the Harrington Handbooks eStore and through Amazon.com.
